Google Forms: Assessment for the 21st Century Classroom

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Assessment and feedback are essential components in a successful classroom. With the addition of GAFE to instruction, assessment is evolving. The goal of this session is to help teachers transform their current assessment and feedback methods by introducing Google Forms as a means of creating exit slips, rubrics, and quizzes. Participants will also learn how to use Google Forms to organize student work flow while creating formative and summative web-based assessments that will support learning objectives and performance tasks of any curriculum. Meeting the needs of diverse learners, Forms allows teachers to collect and analyze data and provide instant feedback to students. This session will not only share background knowledge about the features and functions of Google Forms like auto-save, collaborative work creation, and built in data analysis tools, but also connect Google Forms to add-on services, allowing participants to apply 21st century assessment methods to the classroom.
